Username.domain.000 windows 7

I do see event no logon servers currently available during startup. There aren't any further network warnings or errors. It's interesting that the problem went away after raising the domain functional level. Our DC shows that we're at the maximum level we can do right now We need a DC to move any higher. The next time I have a workstation behave this way I'll run through the even logs.

It's really not hard to find one that does this. Mainly 64bit installs. I get this behaviour, but only on the Enterprise builds Maybe something wrong with my image, but I don't know! It's always comforting when you find someone else in the same situation.

I'll bring it up with my director so we're at least all aware of the issue. Watch it strike while I'm on leave and I laugh from a beach somewhere. I logged into a computer yesterday that created a brand new profile for our admin account. There were no errors in the System or Application event log. Just the usual info entries. The computers must forget that we've already met.

I've had this issue today and luckily for us this PC is situated in a general area so profiles don't necessarily hold any information, everything is saved on the network. I have checked all profiles ending in. I have since logged back on fine and asked other users to try, this has fixed the issue. Just to add to this even though it's closed, you can also open up CMD and run Set and look at the UserProfile path in the output and if it ends in. I deleted the offending profiles from the Reg Key as stated above, and then I browsed to the Users folder and just renamed the corrupt one to.

In a school? UE-V perhaps? I've not looked into that. Last edited 27th June at AM. Mandatory and Roaming profiles are no longer supported in Windows We have also setup Delprof2 to run as a scheduled task to delete cached profiles when a users hasn't logged in after 7 days. How can i rule out this completely? Thus leading to the creation of username. My question is meant generally i want to know if i can safely configure computers like this:.

The issue you describe seems to imply that profiles are not being properly unloaded. You may also consider installing UPHClean. In the meantime, it more relates to the Windows Server, you can post your issue in Windows Server forum for assistance. TechNet Community Support.

Its integrated in the System. I suspect that is the reason the unloading of the ntuser. That seems not to be true for the Folder structure. In my case the answer could be simply not to delete the Profile at logoff since its a mandatory Profile and will be overwritten at next logon.
