Lenovo p500 wifi issues

First thing I would try is going to Lenovo's website and downloading and installing the TouchPad drivers, just in case they are corrupt or something. If that doesn't fix it, the next thing I'd try would be using a USB mouse, if one is available. If a USB mouse works fine, and the touchpad drivers are updated, it's most likely a hardware issue.

The only other issue I could think that would cause that would be general system lag. Does the system lag, or just the mouse? Ive heard about problems with new Toshiba Laptops having issues with their new Windows 8 budget laptops as well. It might be the batch of touchpads they used to build the product.
